When I get stressed up at my work desk. I take a casual stroll down the academic block. I look at all of you young people out there and get reminded of what life's all about! Zeal, dreams, energy, an effervescent enthusiasm and an adorable sense of curiosity!! College days...the only period in life when you get to do what you want to. Later on, you either reminisce or you fantasize. This reminds me of my student days. It was a different time! Those casually dressed, carefree days...! So different from the present... these formally dressed, race days. But I feel that the student in me hasn't quite grown up with me! I fondly recollect the case studies, the assignments...the misery and the hope.

    Leaving aside other things, I would assert that the crucial element, which makes student life a really memorable expreience, is a bond of unity and beliefs, that comes with the camaraderie between your aspirations and ambitions.

    Now here's something for you, all those young guns out there! "What ?" you may ask! "What all do you think it can be?" I ask Back. "The world" you say! "It is just that!" is my answer. Crux is your voice, your intellect, your expression, your feelings...the list seems endless. Crux is the bottom line... the essence of your thought. The best part is, its yours! So make the most of it. Shake that scholar in you, out of the long slumber it's been in. Welcome the energy; welcome the change.     Chocolate sauce and whipped creame. Ah! That's the stuff dreams are made of. Lots of grit and more of work. Ah! That's the stuff success is made of.

    Potential! What a lot of it! And not a nary bit to waste. So much of worth and ability in each one of us. What dreams may we turn real? We are neither the people of tomorrow, nor the children of yesteryears. We are the youth of today and with that youth comes the fire to build, to strive, to reach, to achieve and not to rest. For it is that very potential that lies dormant in each of us that calls us to action. It shouts! It screams! It implores! Let it out.

    We are not mere pawns in the ever-making 'Circle of Life'. We are each separate entities. Each to one's own destiny as one may choose. It is time to make that choice. It is time to let your potential flow. It is time to reach into that Utopian Paradise, where man decides not what he can be, but what he is!
