A graduate in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from IIT Kanpur, Dr. Vijay A. Saraswat did Ph.D in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, USA. He received the prestigious best Ph.D dissertation award from the Association of Computing Machinery, USA.

Dr. Saraswat worked as a Member Research Staff with Xerox, Palo Alto Research Center, USA where he did fundamental work in the evolution of constraint based programming paradigm. He also got actively involved in a variety of pedagogical, sociological and computing issues related to creating, managing and advancing virtual communities on the Net. This interest brought him to AT&T, the world leader in communications, as a Principal Member, Research Staff. At AT&T he lead an ambitious project, aimed at providing the platform technology for an extremely rich communication paradigm on the Internet. Vijay is currently the Chief Technology Officer at VayuSphere leading the effort to develop the next generation Internet based mobile communication services.

Mr. Rashmi Kant Durlabhji is amongst the most prominent citizens of Jaipur and has a multifaceted personality. He has made significant contributions to the society in addition to his contributions to the coloured gemstones industry at the national and international level.

He is a senior partner in M/s. R.Y. Durlabji, the pioneer and leading exporters of Coloured Gemstones from India. Government of India has conferred on them several awards and merit certificates. M/s. R.Y. Durlabhji has developed the manufacturing process for Sandwana Emeralds on scientific basis and has achieved international reputation in this field.

Mr. Rashmi Kant Durlabhji is a founding organizer, and was the first Vice President, of International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA). ICA is the apex body for colored gemstone trade in the world. He was the Chairman of the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council from 1983-85. During his tenure as the Chairman there was a quantum jump in the exports of Gems & Jewelry, and it became the single largest exports commodity from India.

Mr. Rashmi Kant Durlabhji is the Secretary of Santokba Durlabhji Trust. This trust is running Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital, the largest non-governmental medical institution in the state of Rajasthan. SDMH is a 300 bedded hospital with 17 specialties including Open Heart Surgery. He is also the Chairman of the Khailshanker Durlabhji Avedna Ashram Trust. This trust is undertaking the creation of a 100 bedded “HOSPICE” facility for the terminally ill patients with cancer and other diseases.

Mr. Ajit Kumar Singh is the former Director of Department of Information Technology, Government of Rajasthan. He had a long stint of almost four years with the department, during which several initiatives were taken towards adoption of IT in the Government. He helped the State Government in laying down a comprehensive policy for adoption of IT in the Government Organizations. He also formulated methodologies for implementing IT projects in the Government, and initiated and implemented IT projects in several Government departments, such as Finance Department, Transport Department, Commercial Taxes Department, District Collectors and DRDAs. He also conceived and implemented VIKAS DARPAN, a GIS based system for decentralized planning in the State. VIKAS DARPAN is one of its kind system in the country and has been acknowledged at international flora. He was also the Managing Director of Rajasthan State Agency for Computer Services.

Mr. Ajit Kumar Singh has held several important positions in his career with Indian Administrative Services. These positions include; Director, Rajasthan Council of Primary Education; Special Secretary, Planning; Director, Externally Aided Projects Monitoring Unit; Managing Director Rajasthan Sheep and Wool Cooperative Marketing Federation; District Collector and Managing Director, Rajasthan Tribal Areas Cooperative Federation.

Mr. Rohit Kumar Singh did B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IT-BHU and M.S. in Computer Engineering from Clarkson University, USA.

Mr Rohit Kumar Singh worked as an Assistant Systems Analyst with Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. and as an Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Engineering at IT-BHU before joining the Indian Administrative Services.

Mr. Rohit Kumar Singh is currently the Director of Department of Information Technology, Government of Rajasthan. He is also the Managing Director of Rajasthan State Agency for Computer Services. He has taken several initiatives to move the state toward the ultimate objective of electronic governance. Some of the important milestones achieved in his tenure include- design and implementation of RajNidhi, information kiosks for the citizens; broadcast of Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha election results over the Internet; design and launch of the web site for the Govt. of Rajasthan and several departments; organization of national level seminars on Electronic Governance, Internet and Multimedia; and computerization of various State Government departments.

Mr. Rohit Kumar Singh has held several other important positions during his career with Indian Administrative Services. These positions include; SDO/SDM Jaipur; Additional Commissioner, Department of Food & Civil Supplies; and Director, Project Monitoring Unit, Finance Department.

Fr. Jose Phillip is a post-graduate in Education and History.

Fr. Phillip belongs to the illustrious community of Jesuit Priests, who have made great contribution to the cause of education in India. He is presently the Principal of St. Xavier’s Senior Secondary School, Jaipur. Mr. Harsha Lal is also one of the former Directors of CIStems (Software) Ltd. He has worked in senior positions with major corporations like Wipro Information Technology Ltd. and Motorola. He is presently working with Sun Microsystems, the world leader in high-end workstations and Java technology.

Mr. Dhawal Kulkarni is a graduate in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from BITS, Pilani. He also did M.Sc. Mathematics from the same institution. Thereafter, he did M.S. Computer Science and M.S. Mathematics from Lehigh University, USA.

He is presently working as a senior consultant with Sunrise Systems, USA. He has worked as a consultant in Manufacturing, Environmental, Food and Pharmaceutical Industries. He was Manager of IT at Environmental Testing and Certification Laboratory, USA and Oasis Foods, USA before starting consulting work. He is a Certified Oracle Professional in Oracle Database Administration. His current work includes strategic corporate information system architecture setup and datawarehouse design and development.

Mr. Vivek Sharma is graduate in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay, He did M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Connecticut, USA. Thereafter, he also did M.S. in Computer Science from the same university.

Vivek presently works for Grand Central Networks Inc. which is building the next generation infrastructure for network centric computing. Prior to that he spent 4.5 years with the leading database technology company Oracle Corporation, USA.
